I bought a set of bnib Avid mounts in the marketplace and when i recieved them they do not look like any avid mount that i've seen. they are steel painted dark gray w/redish-orange inserts. look just like the old innovative steel mounts. the box says avid on the outside but nowhere on the mounts does it say avid or any stampings. one of the welds has splatter on it and you would think that company as well rep'd as avid would TIG weld their mounts or if they did MIG em they should'nt have splatter. can take pics if need be
