Just wondering..
A guy might buy my intake for his '93 Si hatch (stock engine). I'm pretty sure it will, just want to make sure.

..is there more to that?
Will the cold air extension line up with the intake resonator hole properly?

Hrm... it'll fit - it won't fit - I'll take the middle ground. I'll say it won't fit, but you can probably make it fit. The problem [for you] is, Knight Engineering spends a lot of time making sure they fit a particular application EXACTLY, because they have to machine a custom [plastic injection] mold for each intake. They don't just take a piece of aluminum pipe and bend it on a mandrel like most aftermarket intake manufacturers. This process reportedly costs Knight about $12,000 so they want to get it right the first time. That's why you see so many subtle differences in their parts numbers, and why they work so well.
If it was me, I'd just go buy one new from a retailer, but to each his own...
