Default d16z6 in a ej8?

My motor is blew(d16y8). And here in norway and on ebay it is hard to find a d16y8.

I have a d16z6 block from a 1994 ej on hand.

What is needed to get this to work?

fix the ckp sensor into a cky?

Make a hole for the knock sensor?

I'm going to use the orginal top and ECU P2P

Thanks for any reply

if you use the y8 ecu then you will have to bypass the cylinder fluctuation sensor because one is not present on the z6. as far as the knock sensor goes, i think you can just leave that connector unplugged and as is i don't think it will throw a code. i may be wrong and if so someone feel free to correct me lol.

i'm fairly sure that you can swap the oil pump from the y8 to the z6 bottom end. i would wait for someone else to verify though.
