the question should be why would you want to use the b16 ecu on your d16?

and i thought obd0 b16 ecu's were either pr3 or pw0..... you would have crazy fuel mapping for alot of stuff that wasn't there. just use a pm6

will the car run w/ a pw0 or not? would it make it start any differently? or give me other problems besides valve float?

Don't run an ECU not meant for the Engine/Car.
You may be able to get away with a PG7 but that's meant for a DOHC engine, although it gives you 300-400 more RPMs before the cut-off and will run okay don't use it ..
Just buy a PM6-A09 ECU and get it chipped if you want better fuel maps and higher redlines.

i dont have any of those i have a pm0 obd0 jdm b16a,

ok evryone look i have a crx im trying to get running im poulling my hair out. i had to get a new ecu cuz the old one burnt out due to a bad voltage regulator. now i replaced that the fuel pump the main relay and the distributor. not i cant get it to run i have spark im pretty sure i have fuel. my timing id good but its acting like its 10 out. now the only reason y i say that is cuz wen i squirt fuel into the intake it fires out of the exhaust not even a quick turnover or fart out odf the engine it just sounds like i lit a match and out it comes through the exhause i have compression and i have awsome spark. the oly problem i can think of is that the main relay clicks a thousand times wen i turn the engine over is that sipposed to happen?

check all your grounds for starters, you state that you have already replaced the main relay, so multiple clicks to me seems like a bad ground or short...

well i have a pm6 ecu that revs to 8k if you want it and another ecu will not cause your valves to float the fuel tables will be different. and i got a decent price on my dx but it needs full interior.....

no im good on the ecu i already bought this one i was just curious about how much you got it for cuz im trying to sell me rex that im currently fixing, and its in about the same shape as your dx it has a cheezy body kit and would come w/ an h22 that i had bought for it so i was aking how much you bought your dx for so i could sort or guage a price on my rex.

anyway were should i checj for grounds first at? i already redid the one in the back of the trunk were the water gets to and i redid the ones in the engine bay. does the relay have to be grounded as well cuz i still have it hanging out of the dash just so i can get to it for now instead of going in and out. its wierd tho cuz on one haand i di think its the relay and the other i dont cuz the old one is doing the same thing the new one is so im sittin in the dark. if i had a bad ground wouldnt the car have no juice?
