Default 4-1 itr headers with gutted catalytic converter? QUESTION

Hows it goin guys,

I'm currently running an itr 4-1 header with a gutted cat on my ek with an b18c obd2 gsr. car was running lean so i just replaced the o2sensor and added the sensor extender and i tell you, it does save some gas. But anyways here is my question. i live in chicago, so there is emission smoke test. What should i do when i have to get it tested? i think i should replace the cat but does the headers have to be put back to stock also?

You should be fine keeping your header on, but i would definitely get a cat because you wont pass without one for sure.
