What's a ground lead?
Dashboard lights, flicker My 98 Accord LX stops dead in middle of road as I drive. Now I read in one past on Honda-Tech to change 'ground lead' and check 'ground points'.
Now the mechanics I am calling claim there are many types of ground leads. Tires Plus also say that they don't do such work. Napa and Auto-zone don't have this component with them.
I get a feeling I am shopping around for moon rock. I thought this should be very well known to those in the field.
Could someone help me understand what's a ground lead and how many types may exist in a car?
I am pasting below the content from the post talking about the ground leads.

Vikram

well atleast its at stop lights. It used to happen to my 94 accord on the highway...AT NIGHT!!!! I would be strollin down at 70 MPH then all of a sudden lights flicker RPMS flicker and car dies n starts to roll. All I had to do was buy new ground leads and tighten up the ground points. Check to see if your leads are all tight in all the points and if they need to be cleaned. Will be easier and cheaper than replacing pumps n relays.

Your problem may not be due to the grounds. It may be due to a faulty ignition switch, see following link:

I see if I can dig up some info. for you regarding the grounds in your car though.

Redbull,
Thanks for the information. I am planning to get ignition switch changed as well. Just wanted to make sure that I get ground leads looked at as well.
Thanks once again.

The ground leads are where a negative cable is connected to a system's metal chassis, such as the car body or parts of the engine. Various systems such as the ECU, headlights, etc. all have separate ground leads.
Right now, I can't find the ground lead diagram for your specific car; but, there are many ground leads.

Is there ground lead for injector and for battery?
It's a funny coincidence that my car produces a lot of static shocks. It's like it's whole chassis is teeming with with static.
