can i put a h22 a/t in my 92 accord
yes it can... thats what i have done but im stuck cuz i need an tunable ecu to use and cant find any real chips for the auto cuz the p13 has to be used. i have a very built n/a motor and only a apexi neo to tune it all
Theres a little more to it than just adding the vtec wires but its fairly easy to do if you do your research and have the right tools. I did the H22 swap into my 92 so let me know if you have any questions.
r u looking to keep a/c or p/s? vtec wires and knock sensor need to be added and ran to ecu...not hard. a p13 ecu and prelude tcu for trans is needed.. keepin it auto it has to use those computers. use accord axles and mounts. and for any clean install, while the engine is out a engine bay wire tuck is always nice.
I am in the middle of doing this swap to my car and I'm stuck on the wiring. I have a JDM H22 and its going in a 92 Accord. I have most of it done but i'm stuck on the distributor. My harness is for external coil and the motor is internal. I have no clue where to go from here....Any help. Colter, the motor just bolts right in but the wires and vacuum lines get a little tricky.
