help..just installed rbc intake manifold
just installed the rbc intake manifold and when i started it up there was a high pitch wineing sound then it went away then came back i couldnt pin point where it was coming from but it sounded near the injectors and hondata gasket...when i rev up the car it goes away but when i let off the gas the sound comes back...anyone have any ideas....car is a 05 rsx type s

Sounds like a vacuum leak. I've heard of guys using a thin layer of honda-bond on the entire intake gasket and TB gasket. Before you do that, pinpoint the source of the problem. Try spraying carb cleaner around the suspect area when the engine is idling to see if the rpms change. Hope that helps a little...

thanks man...yeah im doing one mod at a time buddy i kno it dont do anything more mods to come but thanks for helping me out with that statement i never knew it was useless without supporting mods

got that to clear up but now shifting from 1st to second and second to third i hear a loud thump and i checked several times and my intake is not in the way...also it thumps when i push in the clutch so its like i start driving and when i push in the clutch to change gears it makes a loud thump could it be the intake manifold hitting the front of the car cuz i dont have motor mounts yet
yeah in the process of gettting a buddy club race header and new motor mounts just waiting for the tax return that i hope should help
