Radiator support replacement
I just possibly totaled out my prelude two nights ago, rear ended a truck. From my car being as low as it is now it pretty much went under the truck bed, the hood was pushed back and is still attached to the hood latch that is bolted to the radiator support so that is pushed in towards the bay. Radiator nearly touches the header or possibly does from what I can see. Since the hood stayed latched the radiator support went with it pushing it nearly all the way to the header. The only way I can look under the hood is looking at it from the side because the hood crunched up and pushed back. Driver side fender area received some bad damage, seemed like some weight got on top of the front part of the fender causing the area where the fender bolts to become bent.
The car is still at the lot now, I was wondering what will it take to replace the radiator support, I am thinking about doing some major hammering to get the radiator support in its near oem spot so i can at least have a vehicle to drive to and from class. The question would be is it worth having someone or myself cut the radiator support and replace it with possible frame damage on the driver side where the fender bolts on or should I total the lude out? I just had a jdm h22a swapped in it no more then two weeks ago so this is a MAJOR upset and disappointment for me

i wrecked my car in 2000 and it was not pretty. I had a break failure and T-boned someone at like 50mph. my front was trashed and theyre was no driving it period.. long story short its fixed and better than ever.
A radiator support s relatively easily provided you have the tools and knowledge. Just cut out the spot welds and weld in the new support. As far as your other damage you definitely want to get that checked out....good luck to you and sorry about the crash
Also I checked out the damage on the prelude, front radiator support is totaled or at least that's what i think because the fitment on the driver side headlight will never be uncrumbled.

Anyone have any experience with buying nose clips? From tiger auto?
I'll try to get pictures in the morning but I spent most of the day pry parts off the car. The harness that runs to the alternator mysteriously was cut clean off, so while driving up the car ramp that was hitched to my room mates truck it died on me. Then it took two hours figuring out how to get it over the hump that holds the car in place on the car bed, *** hole towing guy wouldn't chain my car and pull it up a few inches.. + the car was really low so we couldnt back the hitch and have the car roll onto it. After that I finally gave in and explained to him I will pay money to tow it to my house then he decides to help out.. took about 3 mins and we were out of there.
Went hammer crazy on it for few days trying to get the support straighten out, used a jack to push it back to it's normal spot. it looks not as bad except for a few kinks in the support where the headlight bolts to. I plan to use some vice grips to even them out. Ordered the replacement body parts and I'll see how everything fits then make adjustments.. hopefully it's not too far off
