Default RHD power windows to LHD EF??

Ok, so i found a set of power windows taken from a jdm EF9 RHD. I was wondwering if they bolt up to my 91 hatch. If not, any modifications needed? The windows come with regulators, motors, all wiring, and oem switches.

Any help greatly appreciated.
Thanks...i did a search, and didnt come up with anything regarding RHD to LHD switch over.

get them and try em, chances are good that they will work, if not im sure you wont have trouble getting your money back by re selling them.

Thanks guys, appreciate it. They would be pretty hard to sell if they dont fit. But the switches isnt the big deal, its the regulators. thats what needs to fit most

I'm gonna have a spare drivers door next week if you need parts (JDM SiR door that is...and drivers as in RHD door).

I've had a few of these sets.....

The regulators bolt right into Canadian models where i live. The switches are opposite of coarse, but some people choose to custom mount them into a center armrest. Or, i have seen some people dissassemble the rhd switch, mount them upside down and put them in a lft hand drive car so that the master switch is on the left hand side.

couldn't you just use USDM sedan switches so you only have to extend wires?

i think you may have to modify the regulators when mounting them onto the window since the jdm regulator uses long window(88/89models)(also all canadian model civic/crx) and your 91 civic hatch have shorter windows. but it's still possible to get them mounted.

this guy did it...
this is not a real ebay ad by the way... just a template? that would have been a killer deal though.

oh yeah, as far as the passenger switch goes, just reverse the polarity on the switches.

it is the drivers one that you have to dremel a little bit, and it won't be perfect, but it will look damn nice.
there is an ebay auction going on right now for a genuine set of LHD power windows. complete with the block off cap for the hole in your door card. but it is too expensive...

seems like jdm is the better alternative here, moneywise.

I did it. flip the switch upside down and you can even flip the regulators, but like this the window doesnt go all the way down, it stays up 1 inch, not a big deal. I also had to put a stopper in so the window doesnt fall into the door when it goes too far down since its upside down. ( you have to make a stopper so the glass stays 1 inch up or it falls into the door) ended up selling the setup for more than I bought it for its not really worth it.

And i really do appreciate it! its too bad that the auction that Candian EF posted is gone! i woulda definetly hooked that up! but there are so many others. And im gonna get some power mirrors too...Little bit of luxury! LOL

I'm in the process of doing this right now, using the door panels, regulators and switches with harness'

the way i chose to do it was flip the main switch upside down and mount it to the drivers side door, and in order for everything to bolt up i needed to swap the lock switch with each other.

currently i have both sides bolted up, required no modification to the lock rods inside the door, and bolts into the stock hole locations on the door.

so the only thing left to finish is the wiring, which i am confident that i can accomplish. i wont be able to have the auto down/up function work but i will be able to control both windows from the drivers side.

because i have a canadian crx i didn't have to modify the regulator mounting to fit the door, bolted in like it came from the factory.
window is tested and working, goes all the way down and all the way up with no modification and no issues.

i cut with a dremel to make the drivers side hole larger and used the cutout to fill the hole on the passenger door panel.

once i finish the wiring i will post pictures and more info.

this is what i am gonna do. i have an integra centre console, so i can just use the small plastic pop-out pieces for my switches.
