Raising Fuel Pressure w/ B&M FPR
Hi, I have a friend that bought a B&M FPR. I really don't think that he needs this because he is NA w/ only basic mods, I/E. I met up with him the other day and installed a B&M Guage and ****! his f/ pressure was at 80!
I convinced him to turn it down but he would only turn it down to 65psi@idle. Am I right in thinking that he should leave his F/ Pressure at stock, at say 55psi? Or would there be any benifit for increased pressure with only intake and exhuast.
EDIT: Sorry, 97 ITR

Tell him to put the stock one back on. I think he cut a bit too much off the hat when he installed the B&M. Unless that guage is off, that is huge pressure.
Well there is defenitely no performance gain from having it set that high. It may help him to raise pressure a couple psi over stock, or it may not. Don't expect big gains anyway.
