EVO VS. S2000 which should i get?
First and foremost I am in the market for a new car and I am debating between and Evo eight and an S2000.
Here is where i am at, I am going to be buying a new car within the next six months and i am torn between the Evo and the S2000 for a couple of reasons. For starters I really like the AWD feature on the Evo cause i live in colorado and i do go snow boarding a couple of times a year. on the negative side if i get an evo it will mean that i will have to sell my eg. and if i decide on the s2000 i will be able to keep my car and have an s2000 as my second vehicle. overall i think i like the look of the s2000 more but i like the practicality of the evo.

does anyone know what insurance is like for both?
what about after market parts which vehicle do they cost more for?

Get the EVO, and not even because it is faster. Having 4drs and a usefull trunk is nice, plus if you put some snow tires on it in the winter, your car will basically be a beast.

obviously i was not asking you
and so you have a thread about what the positives and negatives are for owning an evo or s2000 in a state like colorado where i would be able to drive either car all year long even though it does snow in the winter? if so please would you show me that thread and i will shut up

^^^you just answered your own question...if you're worried about overall comfort and drivability when dealing with rougher terrain...get the evo...

i am not worried about the rough terrain, if it is snowing i obliously would not drive the s2000, i would drive my eg. I have been driving that with snow tires and it works just I just think that if i had the s2000 i would be able to mod my car with more expensive and rare parts cause it will not be driven daily, but if i had the evo i would be more hessitant to buy nice rims and rare parts if i am going to be driving it daily.

these threads are so ****ing pointless. you really have to have no backbone or brain if you gona let a bunch of pple from a forum decide what you should get.
like i said earlier in this thread i would never drive the s2000 in the snow
i will make it easy:
For the evo and s2000:
Which is cheaper to insure?
which has more/cheaper aftermarket parts?
which is MORE reliable?

yeah lets see how ell that will work out
please don't get an s2000.
they suck; it only seats 2, it has a pathetic excuse for a trunk, too dangerous to drive in the snow, the diff is made of glass, it has too many gears (6), too many revs (9000), it's just harsh. not to mention the soft top is a flawed design and develops a rip near the frame. it's not as reliable as you think; it's so easy to miss a shift and go from 5-2 and overrev your 2.0 liter torqueless hive of angry bees.
the evo is the new god's chariot. plenty of power, awd, and a normal-sized trunk. there's no wind noise, it doesnt feel like a cocoon and it won't let you down on stoplight races in front of schools. it's exactly what jesus would drive.
meanwhile, let me sulk in the misery of being an s2000 owner. i wish i had an evo. don't make the same mistake i made.
thanks for playing.
