i have a 89sedan.this isthe second this yr this happens.it started smokin behind the cluster n car dies.battery has juice but wont crank.no lights,nothing.the cluster shorted out same spot both time but nothing touch the back part.plug is good no bare wires at all/what can it b?ladt time i put everything back n lights started flashin.good sign then i started my car.this time im at work n my car died on me.please help.

 

some please help...the motor in the car is a z6 with a p28 ecu..u think i have to change the pins in the cluster?cluster us burnt near the plug over thhe trans plug for thespeedometer
