where do you experts recommend getting replacement parts for Hondas? Specifically my Girlfriends 98 Honda Accord is just rounding 160,000 on the clock i and i need to do some maintenance...i prefer online vender's but let me know if there is certain things that i should get from the dealer.

Anything related to the engine or daily reliability of your Honda should be replaced by Honda parts.

If you like online vendors you can get Honda parts from online vendors.... Or do you mean online vendors such as Ebay or other aftermarket cheap parts?

no i definitely don't mean eBay i mean online vender's where you can get oem quality parts for less the dealer prices...i know when i work on my vw's there is a couple places that you order parts and they actually have the vw logo on them but are half the price as from the dealer

 

 

If the repair involves anything I consider "Mission Critical", I go Genuine Honda only.
I will make exceptions if I can determine if an Alternate Manufacturer is an OEM Honda supplier; such as Denso and their line of O2 sensors for example.

You'll find that some parts are "Dealer Only", not available thru the aftermarket.

Accessories, appearance and body bits are items I will consider from aftermarket sourses.
