Hi Guys I hope you can help me, I am not sure if this is the right place, I have a problem with the idle when my car has just started and it goes from 1 going down to 0 and dies. But when it runs for about 5-8 kms it does not go down to 0, but goes up and down .5 to 1.5 RPM. Any help would be highly appreciated. Thanks in Advance!!

oopss sory I own and EK 9b model ,, D16 engine

 

might be a fast idle valve or iac valve. i would check to see if you have any coes first and that the coolant is good. low coolant can have that effect also clean the throttle

 

did you try checking your iac valves and cleaning it?

 

check idle (unplug iacv and set to 550rpms)
make sure u dont have vac leaks
does your car car have a fast idle valve?

 

Thank you guys,, I tried to replace the Throttle sensor and had the throttle cleaned ,, I think they also changed the IAC. Thank you guys you have been a lot of help!!
