so whilst we are on the topic of Mugen and Fugen, how would one be able to tell the difference in the real deal and the ripoff/egay stuff. Other than trying to find the pics online and still having to decipher between real and fake. I found some "Mugen" petals that looked like the real deal once but was afraid to buy them. Help me and the the OP out on this one. What is the tell tale sign of TRUE Mugen?

 

most mugen parts have distinct features like the mugen is located specifically on one point or theres a parts # on their kits.

The one in the add appears to be aluminum by the welds. The genuine Mugen bars are stainless steel with much prettier welds.

Do the real bars have Mugen just with a sticker or is it actually part of the bar?

 

I picked up a Fugen Strut bar that looked just like the one the dude is sellin. Real mugens look clean, they dont have a sticker stuck on with double sided tape, and the design is flawless. It would be fairly difficult for someone to replicate this STB for example. Granted the design is pretty easy but making the final product look this good would take alot of work. Just be cautious when buying stuff like this and ask around, get pictures and post them around. Someone will be able to tell either way

 

What I'm asking is, Is the mugen symbol on the REAL bar a sticker? Because I have a strut bar that looks EXACTLY like the real one, but it's a sticker. Is it real or fake?

From looking at it, it is painted onto the bar. If it is a sticker, only the black is raised. I'm not about to scratch test it.
