Default questions on brake conversion for 96 civic

I'm planning on swaping the brakes off of a 94 GSR onto my 96 Civic Ex. The civic is going to be a daily driver/track *****.

1. Is there any real performance gains upgrading to a 5-lug off of a type-r? How much bigger are the 5-lug rotors and calipers compaired to the 4-lug? Are those gains worth the extra $$$?

2. If I go with the GSR swap.
When looking for suspension upgrades, what do I order the parts for:
Camber kit: 94 GSR
SS brake lines: 94 GSR
sway bar: 96 civic
Shocks: 94 GSR or 96 Civic?
tie bar: ???

Default Re: questions on brake conversion for 96 civic (mrlegoman)

I have GSR brakes all around on my 96 civic dx. For a camber kit u will need a 96 civic one, stainless lines u can use the goodridge GSR ones. I don't know about a swaybar,I am about to put a 95 delsol front on my car,DX=no swaybar at all. And shocks will be for ur 96 civic. Hope this helped u some what.
