Hey guys, I currently have a 99 Sh h22a4, and i put a piston through the block due to serious drunk driver error. But im not looking to put in another h22a4 model, im looking for a JDM 92-95 h22a. I have found my source for for where i want to get the motor, but just have a few last minute questions.

1) While i wanna swap a 92-95 h22a i was wondering if any other 5th gen owners have tried todo this or anyone else with knowledge could put some information in.
2) i heard that you you need 97-01 base mounts? is that true or would i be needing different model/year ones?
3) Since my BB6 is OBDII, i found a converter cable that runs about 75$ and they say it converts to OBDI would i be able to use the 92-95 engine harness?


I'm Just basically looking for any information as to this swap.. anything will help, and i have been looking around but coming up short for answer. so Thanks in advance
