Default EF seats

i have a 89 crx with the silver stiched seats and they look pretty ruff and I want to find replacments

will any of the EF seats bolt right in wether it be silver/red stichted or CRX/civic seats?

88-89 and 90-91 have different seat rails, you can swap the pans but its a pain

Was searching around earlier as well, but since i can't find SI Seats does anyone know if DA Seats would be an easy mod to a 89 Hatch?

That's not entirely true. For CRX's in the US:

88 HF/DX/Si & 89 HF share the same seat rails.
89 DX/Si, 90 HF/DX/Si & 91 HF/DX/Si share the same seat rails.

See the pattern? It comes down to pillar mounted or door mounted seatbelt models.

To the OP, if you're in Canada, I believe they all have door mounted seatbelts, so my assumption is that all 88-91 CRX seats will bolt up.

You basically have to remove the entire bottom of the seat with the rails attached and swap over to the other seat, not just unbolting the rails.

I like how I'll get 12 random post with useless misleading post before I get a straight answer. I hate coming on honda-tech.

k for the ppl saying 88-89 wont work in 90-91 have obviously never tried (in a civic)
i have a 88 and a 90, i have put the si seats out of the 88 in the 90 and theres no different

right now im sittin on a crx seat (not sure what year it came from) and the rails are different from my civic

so the year doesnt matter but the model does
(100% sure in the civics case)
