Power window problems 1993 EG
I have a 1993 EG LX sedan.
The power locks have never worked since I got it, and the power windows have slowly been dying off. There is no slow or intermitent operation-just won't work anymore and that's that.
First the drivers rear didn't work, then pass rear, then the pass side front. All the fuses look fine and replacing them for good measure changed nothing.
I've done all kinds of work on these cars but this is my first one with power locks and windows-not sure where to start.

Hrm, sounds like a real PITA. You're best place to start is probably going to be with the service manual bibles here: http://hondatech.info/downloads/Auto/Manuals/Civic/
The one for 92-95 Civics will help you out. Look under the electrical section - they have all the ways to diagnose electrical problems with your car. Trust it. Don't forget your multimeter.
Good luck.

Thanks I'll check it out. I also have the master tech book at home for the car, but was wondering if there is a common part that fails that I can try swapping first?
Theres so much mis-information on the net about the relay box being in the door, under the dash, or in the engine compartment. The car was hit in the front part of the drivers door when I got it. I thought that the wires were damaged and when I got the new door nothing changed.

maybe the window switches are shot. I know that when i have my windows cracked ,even a tiny bit, during a drizzle or rain that the water collects on that stupid little black window thingy on the outside and water tends to drop right onto the switch area. Bad design on Honda's part IMHO.
Try pulling the drivers front door and test all the wires going in and out of the window and lock switch assemblies with a meter.
