I recently replaced the gaskets and seals from the head up on my 91 ls motor in my crx. I also put in a chipped obd1 ecu with obd1 conversion harness, 4 wire o2 sensor, obd1 dizzy and jumper, and dsm 450cc injectors. when I try to start it it gets fuel, great spark, and turns over great, and the timing is perfect but it just won't start it just turns over. Any ideas on what could be keeping it from started? Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks

 

does the ecu have a basemap for the 450 injectors?

I managed to get it running once but it poured A LOT of blue smoke out of the exhaust and then oil starting coming out of where my wastegate bolts onto the header and smoke came out of the top of the header, it looked like exhaust was being forced up instead of going down into the turbo and now it wont start again

 

wow that sounds horrible. did u change the headgasket possibley put it on backwards?

 

I'm almost positive that the problem is the turbo seals and there is shaft play so I ordered a new turbo

 

sounds like my friends motor, ended up being a bad turbo. we started the engine with no turbo to see if it did the same and for sure it was blown seals on the turbo.

 

I got the new turbo bolted on but now it is burning a lot of coolant
