Ok, but the clutch was already broken in by sombody else...i was told it had roughly 500 miles on it..so either way...just drive it easy till teh clutch can meet the patern of the flywheel?
ya give it around 150-200 miles to feel out the fly wheel. and dont do much highway driving

we can't see your flywheel but if it's flat, smooth and you can't feel any warpage it should mate to your new clutch pretty well. i normally use an air sander with 180 paper if i'm reusing a brake rotor of flywheel. you just want to pull the glaze off, nothing more.
however, the fidanza 7.5lb aluminum wheels are only $129 on ebay. they act like **** during break in but chill right down after 500 miles. i have one bolted to my ITR engine and it works like a charm.
What's it like having that light weight flywheel on the ITR motor compared to the stock ITR flywheel?

I dont like light weight flywheels. Specially for the way i use my car, i like the momentum of the weight of the flywheel to keep me going. Its all on the way you race your car. Thats why im kinda leaning more towards an itr. I used to have one, there nice cuz there not as light as aftermarket but yet not as heavy as the gsr or ls.

So back on topic...the majority people on this post say, NO to resurfacing... And that i should be fine, as long as i take it easy for the 1st 500 miles correct??
i would resurface just to be safe. I don't know how much resurfacing costs but it cant be that much. It sure as hell is better to spend the extra money than having to take everything out again just to do what you should have originally done.
The local Machine Shop was going to resurface my flywheel (98LS) for $40 but I could get a brand new one for like $80 from them so thats what I did instead. Works like a charm. Dman, Stage 5 is pretty intense, what kind of setup do you have? That almost seems like too much clutch for a DD car. just IMO though, so dont take it the wrong way.

To the OP, I would just get it resurfaced. It is such a small thing to cut corners on, and if something does go wrong its not going to be good. Many places can do it for you. I know les schwab does it. Some other tire places do too, and of course there are your local machine shops.

Yeh i found out that its only costs 40 dollors to resurface at a shop locally.. Like you guys said, im just going ot do it to be safe..Whats 40 more dollors vs. messing something serious up in the long run. Also my car IS a daily driver, however it have nearly 450whp and i need a tough clutch, not to mention i track the car on weekends...I have driven a stage 5 comp b4 this one, it wasnt that bad. My friend has the same setup with the same clutch/pp etc. and he has no problem with using it as a dd....
Thanks for all your inputs guys!
