Yes, directly from Hytech. However expect a wait period.

Here's their website, http://www.hytechexhaust.com/. In the past, John has always been rather prompt at answering any emails I sent him.

I had to wait 2 months to get my Hytech setup, which was header, B-pipe, resonator, cat, and twin-loop.

Two months, that's all? Some have had to wait much longer.

Maybe I got mine quicker because I was buying the whole setup, and I picked it up in person.

The entire set up, Twin Loop - Anti Reversion Header - Renault Cat, will cost you $2250, and it was another $175 for everything shipped. Due to your location shipping may be significantly more.

As others have previously stated, you may find yourself waiting for an extended period of time. I promise you will not be disappointed, and the hp/tq returns are some of the best if not the best of any company fabricating bolt ons for an ITR.

He will not take your money upon ordering, he will wait until the product has been completed and ready to ship. Again, depending on what his work load looks like you may or may not have to wait an extended period of time.

Edit: Forgive me, i was answering others and not you specifically. The header itself will be in the neighborhood of $1300 + shipping.

Where did you pick up your set from isn't the shop located in Texas? Also buying the complete exhaust system did it increase the sound by a great deal? I prefer the sleeper/less attraction approach.

Its located in Irvine California and it sounds like a mugen twin loop. I heard the exhaust 1st hand, real nice.

It's a little louder than the twin loop, because the piping is 2.5" instead of 2.36" on the Mugen one.

Damn son, you drove from the yay to so cal to pick up your parts? That's dedication right there, or you really had nothing else to do (lucky bastard). How low is your header currently sitting?

Well, I was on my way to see my mom in the desert and I also picked up a door for my Integra, so it was sort of on the way. Or maybe I was on my way to pick up the exhaust and door and my mom was on the way! haha

Mainly, I really wanted to see John's shop and meet him in person. Super nice guy. I wouldn't buy any other header now.

My header has a few inches of clearance. It's pretty low, but I don't offroad my car, and I only have a moderate drop (about 2 fingers gap in front, and 1 in the rear)

Is the 2.36" of the Mugen piping the ID or the OD?

I'm not sure since I don't have a Mugen, but from what I've read, it's the inner diameter. I measured my Hytech outer diameter last night and it was 2.5"

I am not questioning the validity of your statement, but are you sure that it was 2.5 ID, how did you measure it? Do you mind providing a picture?

Well here is where I am confused, here is a quote from the SMSP website
"All header tubing is measured by the outside diameter (OD) and wall thickness (gage)"
So with the "standard" exhaust tubing being 16 gauge or .065 wall, that would make a 2.5 inch OD exhaust (or tubing kit such as those sold by SMSP, Kteller, etc.) a 2.37 ID exhaust, which would be advertised as 2.5 inches. Now, many of the catback exhaust companies adverties their exhausts as 60mm which is 2.36 inches - so do they advertise their exhausts inner diameter which would make them 2.5 OD provided they are 16g?

You're right, it is the outer. I used my metal tape last night in a dark room, and I was wrong.

I went back in there today with my soft tape and some better light. The metal is 16g, the outer diameter is a 65 mm and the inner diameter is a 60mm.

Sorry for the misinformation.

Can anyone else confirm this? This thread https://honda-tech.com/forums/acura-integra-type-r-8/jdm-vs-usdm-mugen-twin-loops-exhausts-141694/, as well as the others I looked at while trying to confirm this conjecture seem to have the ID of the Mugen twinloop at 2.36, not an OD of 2.36.
