hearing more about the Hondata program for the RSX.Aprox.3mths and we'll be able to send our ECU's to them and have them put to factory Spec's before they got off the boat(detuned).All Acura dealers were to detune them--estimated 20hp for around $300---and thats just ignition timing,..haven't got into fuel settings and such,.there maybe more!

and no it won't reset if you unplug negitive cable--normally how your car would re-learn--it is somehow frammed or something like a comp,.you can turn the power off and it will hold to the program.(Didn't word it how I was told but maybe you get what I'm saying?&gthahahaha

 

How much will it cost to get my car tuned and dynoed? I'd rather not spend another 100 bucks if that's what it's going to take.

 

I Heard some good things as well there another post in her with alittle more info, but guess we just have to wait and see

Yep,...dat be it!!! They know a little more on Crsx then here(as far as RSX's go),.so I believe for my own learning experience,.I will look to them for answers-(No offence)

The K20 Hondata unit won't be useful until they allow you to reprogram your own ECU (like they do now for their OBDI units). Who the fug cares about sending your ECU to Hondata so they can tune your car for intake and exhaust? What we need is something that will handle tuning for turbos and NA performance K20's, similar to what Hondata has on the market for the B-series engines.
