Right now I have DC 4-1 headers, high flow cat with 2 1/4 piping.... It works great for b16, has some back pressure for low end, but it opens it up a lot for high end.

However, when I finish upgrading everything else I will go back and change it from that to JDM Type R header, same cat, and 2 1/2 piping... I now have the LS/VETC so I need a wider opening....it needs to breath damnit!!!!!!!!

I dont know why this is a poll, there are tons of combinations. I have a jdm 4-1, spoon cat-jack, ctr b-pipe and a spoon n1 muff.

I just want to know what different setups are good... what size piping are you using? Ah.. the stock CTR B-pipe, what size is that anyway?

hrm, so with the USDM ITR exhaust manifold... you get the low end torque as opposed to the JDM 4-1....

I didnt feel a loss of torque when I went from a usdm itr exhaust manifold to the jdm itr manifold. But I did feel gobs of top end. But I guess it depends on the setup.

well...a little bit more, but it's a b16 so nothing is going to help out too much. It's worse then a stock b16 manifold and better then the JDM header. It really helps out with the midrange to slight top end(around 7500). that's all ASS_dyno though...no REAL numbers.

DC JDM ITR header, SMS 2.5" cat, custom 2.5" b pipe (mandrel bent), Type One axle-back.

Works good, sounds good.

You're saying that the USDM ITR Manifold is better than the JDM 4-1....and I was confused...

I'm asking is the JDM B16 SIRII manifold better than the USDM B16 Manifold?

Well if you wanna drive up to WA I'll be happy to let you hear it...otherwise I'm afraid I have no way of getting a clip . It does sound nice though, a bit loud sometimes (there is no resonator) but that's what the silencer is for.

And 6ghatch: Nice exhaust!

no I'm saying the JDM ITR header is better then the USDM ITR manifold in terms of top end, but the USDM is slightly better for low-mid power.

And I'm pretty sure the USDM and JDM b16 manifolds are the same.
