what do i need to turbo charge or add nos to my sohc.

i was just wondering what do i need to have in order to turbocharge or add nos to my sohc non vtec, and dont tell me "get a swap, you can do so much with a b or k series blah blah...""
and if anyone has a turbo sohc or sohc on nos, is it worth your money? do you get alot of power out of it?

this is a good thread to look at if you're thinking you want to run some boost. yes its for a b-series but its virtually the same stuff you would need for a d.

also, nos is a brand. nitrous is what you spray into your engine.

i know what you are saying stock motor wont handle nitrous just like that
thats why i asked, what would i need for the engine?
like head work, block work, etc?
and if anyone has sprayed nitrous on their sohc how you do it?

i dont have a hp goal on my sohc, i just think it would be fun spraying nitrous on the sohc
and i want to see what this little engine can do

on a dry 50 shot it went 15.6@89
then a 75 wet shot with hollow cat and southbend stage 2 clutch(a must for this big of a shot) 14.7@92mph...2.2 60foot and a best of 2.0 on this shot and street tires.
and finally same as above on 100shot it went 14.2@98mph spinning all of 1st and 2nd-a non preped track with street tires is worse than the street.lol. 2.4 60 foot FTL!
it finally popped after a year of abuse. if you wanna go with a 100shot then you will need a bigger fuel pump. i continued to race my car on the 100 shot even though the stock pump couldnt support it. that plus i missed 3rd and squeezed to the limiter...ending with 2 melted pistons.
oh and i always mixed 110 octane with the pump gas just to assure no detonation along with 5 degrees backed out and the coldest autolite resister plug i could get.
hope this helps.
this is all the trouble i'm going through to make 300 whp. and that's with a 150 shot. so this is kinda what you're looking at if you wanna make 250whp. just less nitrous.

id say go get a 96-00 greddy kit and turn the boost up to 10psi with a smaller fmic and a tune and youre set for a long reliable setup

i would go turbo, but is just too complicated for me right now
and my motor is non-vtec so i want to keep it like that =]
