Is it posible to make 500whp with stock sleeves and 92 gas?
I have a turbo del sol, I made 390whp on 17lb and 92 gas on LS Vtec with stock B16 head and low compresion pistons. My goal is 500whp. Now I upgraded the head: Skunk 2 spring and retainers, BLOX Turbo cams, Victor X manifold with 68mm TB and 680cc injectors. runing GT32 turbo on top mount.
So haw much PSI I can go or haw much power I can make on that setup?

Just a little FYI...dont post questions like this in the Civic Forum. The last guy to comment epitomizes the types of responses you're going to get.
Anyway, you wont make that power with the turbo you have. It wont be efficient past 425whp period...let alone running pump gas

I build my motor like 3 years ego and I didnt have money for darton sleeves, but now I dont care if I blow it I'll sleeve another LS block.
I know alot of people that making 525whp on stock block and no problem but they running racing gas I think.
I thonk 450whp should be fine, I just wounder haw fur I can go with it, stock block and 680 injectors?

it is possible.. but... . Man honestly I'd like to try it myself lol.. I've done 600+ on stock sleeves with race gas, but not pump lol.. But I have done a sleeved motor on pump at those power levels. I think as long as you can work your way up on the pump gas and NEVER detonate even a little bit you SHOULD be able to make that power on pump. But at those power levels it only take mild detonation to crack the sleeve so your tuner better be top notch. I don't know if you'd be able to reach those power levels with your turbo setup though without any detonation. You'd need a really good free flowing setup and properly prepared combustion chambers and pistons.
whats the CR and bore size?
i highly doubt that your cyclinder pressures are going to allow you to make 500whp on 92 octane only. i guess if you run super rich (10-11afr) and you have a good ignition set-up you may reach it, but i think your set-up is going to be done at 450-475whp get more turbo also list more about your set-up

Sure, the engine can handle more power on stock sleeves BUT that turbo isn't going to get you there. You're pretty close to the limit on it already. If you make more than 425whp, consider yourself lucky. You WILL NEVER hit 500whp on that turbo. It doesn't matter if you run pump gas or race gas. If you want to make more power, you'll have to upgrade to a different turbo
