Oil leak problem p/m/o!!!!
ok idk i have an oil leak where the oil filiter goes onto i know its not the filter and my buddy that has a 5th gen told me that he replaced a gasket that goes there but idk what to say to autopart stores or honda to get that gasket im tired of seeing smoke come out from under the front of my car and ppl pulling up to me and saying "hey theres smoke coming from ur car" ugh can anyone help me out? thank you
yeah x2. Oil cooler O-ring. honda has it for like 4 bucks.
They can change it for you too. Should only be an hours labour.
If they wanna charge more than an hour they don't know about not removing the coolant lines so you don't have to bleed etc. Tell them to just drain oil, pull filter, remove nut (forget the size already lol, 30 mm or something around there I think), pull the pedistol off the block. remove the non existant rubber o-ring, put a new one on coated with grease (just have to slip it into the grooves on the oilcooler), slide pedistol back in place. Put nut on, tighten down, put filter back on, put oil in and santa is ur daddy.
