Default Front end shaking

Well on the highway once i get to around 60 miles an hour the steering wheel shakes ALOT, and it feels as if the rims are shaking side to side. It does this at low speeds like 20 miles an hour although the shaking is barely noticable but right around the 60 mark is the worst and goin up to about 70 or 80 it is not so bad. I also have had a clunking sound coming from the front end and i just thought this might be a part of the problem.

probably a bad bushing somewhere. can also be a poor alignment and unbalanced tires.
take your car to firestone and have them take a look, they charge like $20 for a front end inspection.

if you hear clunking i would also think your wheel bearing. I had this same problem. It was LOUD. once you get it done i would also get a balance. This should stop the noise and shaking

lol nope... had the tires balanced..aligned.. and rotated.. i hoped it would fix the problem but it didnt. And it really pisses me off that its still happening, so im taking the rims off tomorrow and i have an appointment at honda on monday. i just dont wanna keep the rims on cause if it is a bushing or sumthing they will most likely put the blame on the rims and void the warranty cause dealers suck!

i really couldnt tell you if its covered or not.. but really sounds like the wheel bearing to me. from what i know this is just a wear and tear issue, not caused by your wheels. how many miles on it.

a rim could be bent. possibly so small that it's not noticeable by the naked eye..
