Wanted some input, i know ive pretty much always heard that the ET street radials were about the best hooking radial out there, and ive outgrown my baby 205/50 bfg's so im looking into some 225's.. i know summit has them listed as the reg ET streets (in 225/50) but on MT's site, only 225/50 size is in the ET street radial II's..
any opinion on these? are they known to hook as well as original et street radials? looking

they are 2 diff compounds..the 2nd one pictured is the one they designed for lower profiles.
i prefer the original et street radial , if it will fit your application

haha naw, i dont think my little d needs that much tire
im not making quite enough power to justify a 26" tire haha
i dont run slicks because while i wont run the radials on the street all the time, i still drive to the track (1.5hr away) on them, and around time sometime.. im just looking for something to hook better then my bfg's

I have x4 of the 235/60/15 in the ET street, this is the smallest size they make.. 26" tall is a little big for most Hondas. I will be using them on my DSM.
Treadwear rating is 0, Temperature rating is C, as well as Traction being C. These things are very very soft.

get the BFG's 225/50/15's they are easy and you don't have to jack your car way up. Mine came in today so i can't say how grab but 225 will be better than a 205
i bought a rota slip 15x7 specially for them

rintegration, those psi numbers don't mean anything to me. How much hp/tq do you make at that psi.
My bfg 225s are a joke on 450-500whp even in 3rd gear

i have the 235 60 15 mickey radial(ET street) and i like them alot, it was the only tire i could dyno my car on, i am using an s372 turbo and they still spin on the street, even in 4th but its better than the 225 BF goodrich. if you actually look at it i think the 14inch BFG is taller than the 15inch, i think the 205 60 14 worked better than their 15 IMO.

awesome! thanks for all the info guys
yea 235/60 is a little bigger then i think i want run, but the 225/50 seems perfect..
shouldnt have to raise my car too much either.. but yea bfg's def hook pretty well (me being only around 220whpish??) but on the street, still spun through 2nd, and a little of 3rd, but at the track, hooked 2nd nicely, but still couldnt really get out of the hole. i know im not making crazy power, nor driving a 10 sec car
but im raising the boost and going for a retune next week, so i think im going with the 225/50 MT's especially if theyre the same compound as the older style (seeing that i hear theyre about the best
)

220whp to 300 the 225 will work good for you especially if your boost by gear.
I think my will work good for me at 415. i think once you get to 450+ then they suck

Well just tried out my BFG's with my boost by gear they are great. no complaints from me.

And i dont think you can get the m/t 225/50/15 anymore. You couldnt get them last time i checked. (a year ago)
1st gear spin but didn't slam like it usually does.
2nd spun a little up top as i got to the top of my gear
3rd, dead hook..........
so something not right.
MT's are hard to get.
depends on teh power you make at 30psi but my guess is heck no.
Your gonna need 225 at least.
for you the 235's may be in your favor. at 400 with boost by gear 225bfg's will work.
