I have just bought a 1996 honda civic with a 1.6 engine nonVtec,the problem Iam having is that the engine was swapped out of a 96 4DR civic with a throttle body,the intake was swapped to the port injection and there is suppose to have an egr valve?at the left corner of the head(i guese that is what it is)it has 2 plugin on it.the new engine does not have a place for me to bolt it on.is this gonna effect the cars driveabiltity?im already have a check engine light on and when i hit the gas hard it cutts out like a revlimiter.but im not sure if there is another sensor setting it off,any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

take it to autozone and see what all codes it's throwing...
