Default How long will it take..

To swap out my transmission and put in another stock one, I tried search and couldn't find anything, and will I need a hoist to change it out?

If it's his first time doing this task it is going to take him more than three hours. If you're going to respond, at least make it worth reading.

The first time I took my transmission off it took me an entire weekend. I have done it so many times now that I swapped transmissions in my girlfriends apartment complex by myself with hand tools and jack stands in 2 hours and 15 minutes.

There's no finite value that anybody can give you. This is a scenario that has far too many variables. The key to successfully completing any project is to allocate enough time to complete it. If you are unsure about how long it will take, then allocate more time.

take your time,
if you have never done it before plan a day or two,
it all depends on how much you know, and if everything does what you want it to,
just take your time is really all i can say,
no you want need a hoist or anything like that, jack some stands, tools and time,
