Default 92 GSR questions

I did search and I still am unclear of a couple things that I am working on with a 92 GSR.
First of all I have a B18C1 swap and doing a P73 head swap in the moment and I am going to use a Skunk 2 pro intake manifold. I was wondering if I will have any issues with the Vtec engagement since I am removing the secondaries by installing the Skunk 2 IM, and also does anybody know what the vtec engagement point is for a stock p61 gsr ecu?
I am currently using an obd1 p72 ecu and just wanna know if it will work fine until I get it tuned or if I should throw in the stock p61 until then. Thanks!

vtec engagment has nothing to do with the butterflies on the gsr intake manifold. they are ran off of vaccum. vtec is engaged by the vtec solenoid and controlled by the ecu

I know that the butterflies have nothing to do with the vtec engagement, I am asking if it will cause any issues with the way the car runs since they will be missing. Also does anybody know what the vtec engagement point is for a 92 gsr (p61) ecu?

And use the ECU according to the engine, not the car.

cmon guys, I know this, all I am really asking is if there will be an issue with the p72 ecu i have in there, I would rather run the p61 if the vtec engagement point is higher than 4400rpm, its the only thing I don't like so far, other than that I know the car will run better on the p72 until its tuned because it uses a better fuel map than the p61. I'm just not sure on the vtec engagement at this point on the p61.

Well i have A P72 OBD1 the same setup, vtec will begin to engage at 4400-4500 thats when valve lift starts to begin and the vtec solenoid actually happens at 5400-5500 rpm, but if u have a vfac controller you can map the vtec anyway u desire? Get rid of the P61...EBAY

How much horse do you think you would make with that set up? P61 and P73 ecu?
