Turbo ITR springs rev limit
high I just bought a set of ITR springs and CTR cams and I was wondering how high everyone would recommend reving to. there going into a 84mm darton sleved b16, 8:1 comp je pistons, eagle rods, turboed with a turbonetics t3t04 v-trim
Thanks
Eddie
also was wondering what kind of valves would you recommend.
Thanks

You can go up to 9000RPM without a problem. Lots of Mugen or Spoon ECU's raises the rev limit to 9k, and it has proven reliable on completely stock ITR motors over the years.

If you're making anything over 300whp I'd definately get a complete aftermarket valvetrain. Personally I've got Supertech installed in my head, but most will work fine as long as it's installed properly.

i took my stock b16 with a built head, and gsr cams. to 9200. with a t61.. it pulled hard all the way to the limiter.. was fine for the year it was in the car..
Sorry if im beating a dead horse here, I was wondering if someone can verify/confirm this claim. Im running a gsr head with itr valvesprings and itr cams, and I dont know exactly where my power drops off (naturally aspirated btw w/11.8:1 cr + i/h/e) and I was wondering if this was true. That way when I go to get it tuned, I can feel better about running up to a 9k rev limit.
i dropped a valve at 9k rpm in my buddies car on the stock ITR springs. this was a brand new head from the dealer with 10k miles on it. 500whp or so on race gas. i did a long burnout off the rev limiter which was ill advised of course but never the less it did drop a valve and ruined the motor. so if you are careful it may be fine, but i would advise keeping it down.
