Icon6 OEM Factory Spoiler Removal

I'm planning to take the oem spoiler off and i need some assistance ... I know you remove the four bolts and lift it off the trunk, but what should i do with the wiring? do you guys recommend i cut it ? hit me up... thanks

No don't cut it. Follow the wires down the trunk arm thing. There will be a plug under where the rear deck 3rd brake light is.

You can get some rubber plugs to seal up the holes left by the bolts. Hit those with some touch-up paint if you want a cleaner appearance.

I'm not sure, but you could probably find something usable at your local hardware store. Anything that fits the diameter of the hole should work.

-2 packs of nylon 5/16 inch hole cover plugs from lowes or home depot
-1 box of 7/16 inch rubber O-Rings
- Maybe a hot glue gun



Should looks something like that when finished.
Don't worry about anything leaking, since the holes are on the gutter anyway. Nothing will leak into the trunk.

or you can be cheap and put electric tape over the holes

I tried looking for that wiring you guys were talking about that connects to the third brake light inside the car... couldn't find it ... can any of you send me a pic of where it's located and what it looks like... thanks

This is how mine is. Pull out the part that is circled, and there should be a plug.
