shall I give new springs time to settle on the car before I go for alignment ?
yes, about a week on the safe side, some will say a couple of hours but for me on any of my set ups tat i have had, always saw a settin time of about a week.
Springs don't "settle".
However, failing to re-clock the bushings at the new ride height, can result in "suspension sag" as the bushings slowly work their way back to correct orientation.
If you follow correct procedure and clock the bushings, go get the alignment immediately, there will be no concern over the springs settling.
