camber kit installation
anytime you mess with any part of a suspension, you should get an alignment. yes your installing a camber kit but how will you know if the camber and caster are - or +
Install the kit only, do not try to adjust your camber settings before you get an alignment.
Set the front camber kit near stock specs as close as possible.
If you set the camber all the way out to correct the camber issue, you're car will toe out, and you'll have a hard driving your car straight.

Yes.
Camber hardly affects tire wear, toe is the main killer of tires. Failure to get an alignment will just mean you have incorrect toe and that your tires will not last very long.

It depends on how low you lowered your car?
Alot of people are running lots of camber and no camber kit what so ever.
I'm lowered about 2" from stock and have no front camber kit. I have shims in the rear for adjustment.
If you are one of those people that don't like the improved handling and crooked tire look, by all means, use the camber kit, nothing wrong with that.
I put one on my g2 Integra because it cambered really bad.
Just make sure you get an alignment regaurdless of what you choose to do.
