I hope I'm in the right section. But I came across this on youtube, and I was just wondering if anyone tried this technique. Feedback would be great, because I think I might want to try also but looks silly. Help me out.

i have the perfect dent on my civic to try that on.shallow no crease.where do you get co2 cans from?

 

you can use the air sprayer cans. for like cleaning keyboards.

should work, ive used a propane torch to work out dents in a similar way.

 

I've tried it with little result. Perhaps mine weren't shallow enough?

 

thats what i thought he was using.but i thought the cans for cleaning key boards where just compressed air.i will have to look for a can and try it.

 

its called heat shrinking

heat the area then quickly cool it down. the metal contracts a little.. in this case it was enough that the dent popped itself out

this method can work but only on certain dents..
