Default bearings on the crank

The machine shop has just finish polishing up my crank, now they took the bearings out of the crank and do not know where they are, i had called honda and they said the bearings are color coded and they're not universal...does anybody have the size chart that matches the 7 different color coded bearings on the crank...and also on the rods...thanks...

The most accurate way of determining proper bearing sizes (since you had them polish it) for your selected clearances is to mic it. Since the journals were polished, it might have taken off enough to loosen up the tolerances too much, given that the journals already had wear & tear on them and then were polished on top of that. I would not assume the same as original bearing sizes.

You can also plastigage it, but that's not as accurate or precise.

yea exactly, i had thought about that..but the size of bearings are not the same original size anymore...but i mean this block is gonna be turboed...so we were worried about the tolerances level on it...but what they were considering doing was to resize it...we were also thinking about ordering 70 bearings..considering that we need about 10 bearings and there are 7 different color code...i

It might have been worth it to just get everything machined to the same parameters so that you can use the same sized bearings for all of them.

I'll see if I can scan in the page tomorrow if I have time, or if I don't have the time for that, I'll just give you the color and bearing size.

Get it plastigauged... physically checking the clearance will be the only sure way to do it.

I definitely wouldnt recommend buying 70 bearings!!! They cost approx. 12$ a piece!!! meaning 24$ per journal!!!!! Do the math, its not gonaa be cheap.
