Icon3 traces of rust spots!!!!!!

hey guys, due to our Canadian winters and hwy travelling, rock chips are just part of what causes wear and tear on a cars body.. my blue honda is a victim of such a case.. on the top of my windshield i have two 1/4 inch sizes of rust spots developing on my 2002 honda all cuz of a rockchip that is now causing rust due to the winteer weather and the salty roads triggering the process..

now .. any suggestions of permanently removing/treating this? i dont want this cancer to spread and want it gone.. i know its still tiny but a stitch in time you know

id appreciate any help i can get

thanks guys

There is only one way to stop and repair rust. You have too remove it, seal the bare metal and refinish it. The real *&^! thing about rust is that when Iron Oxide forms, it helps transform the adjacent steel to rust also. It continues to spread like a cancer. And just like cancer, it must be removed to 'a clean edge'.

There are products that will slow it down and there are products that can temporarily hide it, but ultimately the car will end up in a body shop.
How do I know this? Cuz the Hood (Bonnet to our cousins in the British Isles) and Roof are parts of the car that you look at EVERY TIME you get in and out of the car. If the repair isn't perfect, you'll be reminded of it every day.
