what would it take too make a 04 RSX type S a rear wheel drive car?

all you need to do is to put a ls1 in the car and it becomes RWD.

Would take loads of money and time like everyone else said,infact making it rwd would probably throw the car off in performance,its balanced to be fwd. But thats a good thing,fwd is fun.

It really would not be that hard....the subframe has the lca mounts on it, you would have to biuld some new strut towers to use the front suspension in the rear, the side motor mounts would mount to these( the ft and rear mounts are also on the subframe). The sub frame just needs 4 mounting points to the unibody....the gas tank would go under the hood and sit in another subframe with stock front suspension less the drive shafts......the cable shifter would be a pia but that is pretty easy also( better than a shift linkage).....

Yes, I have kinda thought this through. I have kinda thought about taking a 3rd gen MR2 with a blown motor and hanging a type-s drivetrain in it as a cheap lotus....
