My car has power everything and of course the kid I purchased it from didn't have the FOB. Seen online I can get used ones if I can match it up to the appropriate internal control box which I can find out from the dealer right? Well the dealer said the 96 didn't come w/ a FOB and that it may have been install after stock? I guess my question is how can I locate the unit myself to see what FOB I need to purchase online to get me some remote action going?!

 

I don't think there's that many fobs you can get..just search on ebay

I used the one that came with a 92 accord on my 99 lx, you just have to resync it. I think there's just two types that work. One with and without the trunk button. The one with the trunk button still works even if you don't have that feature.

Just don't try anything radical and try to link up an 06 key to your car.

as long as u have the stock radio i think you're fine.
