Default deguzmanEG Build- turbo DC2 from Canada eh!

Hey Honda-Tech,

Been reading a lot of the builds going on right now as well as a couple local friends builds (reynard's KRX) and it got me thinking i should start my own build thread! It won't be as fast as some of the other builds with completion hopefully around April or May.

Car Details:
98 Integra GS-R
Fresh Coat of Milano Red
JDM ITR front end
OEM optional kit all around
Recaro leather seats to match the gsr rears
Desmond Regamaster 16" rims on yok's
ITR srs wheel
ITR shiftknob
skunk2 lca's
omni street coilovers
Seibon oem carbonfibre hood
Mugen twinloop exhaust
...missing more i'm sure

Motor:
Completely Stock B18C1

Build Details:
Stock Sleeve b18c1
81.5mm Wiseco 8.8:1 pistons
Eagle Rods
ACL race bearings
Arp Headstuds
Stock B18C1 head port and polish, 3 angle valve job
Skunk2 Intake Manifold
Competition stage4 "iron man" clutch
LSD (either Quaife or wavetrac)

Peak Boost Turbo kit
Topmount Manifold
Tial 50mm BOV
Tial 38mm Wastegate
Full peakboost piping
PWR intercooler
I haven't chosen a turbo yet (stuck between leaving room for more and getting a GT3076R or just getting a t3/to4e 57 trim. Just picked it up from cj_eg2 and waiting for it to arrive

Tuning will be on what my tuner is most comfortable with which is ChromePro. Before all this goes in, I will be doing a full wire tuck, fuel and clutch line tuck, and possibly brake line tuck with help from Chase of ChaseBaysOnline.com

I will update throughout the next two months with progress and pics. Please help me out with your advice and suggestions through out the build

Here we go!

thanks guys,

Yea i'm really stuck on which turbo to get.

t3/t04e 57trim . 63
t3/60-1

again, my power goal is 350 stock sleeves or more if you guys think it'll handle it. I'm also stuck on the idea's of a block gaurd. My tuner agrees that it won't make the sleeves any stronger, but will provide extra assurance to sleeve walk and also protecting the block when the stock sleeves finally give out.

Updates soon, i'll be working on the bay this week and will post pics of the tear down process.

you have a very nice car already and as for the motor i would say the 30r its prolly the best turbo out there thats mid sized it will make 350 easy and fast and still could make 500whp if you felt the need and i would skip the block guard good luck and ill be checking back.

I would love to run the 3076r! its the price that kills....

I'm really thinking hard about sleeving the motor, i'm hearing mixed results about how reliable my setup wil be for daily driving 350 on stock sleeves.

What do you guys think? I almost have the motor stripped and gonna be sending it out for paint soon. I'll update wiht pics this week.

Do you guys think i should just paint the bay Milano red again...or go with the whole different colour bay theme? I'm also deciding if i wanna shave ALL the holes in the bay or just leave them...

let me know what your suggestions are Thanks for all the kinda comments

I would keep the engine bay the same color as the rest of the car.

lol i completely forgot about this

The engine bay is now completely tucked and shaved and will be painted Milano red this weekend!

Also i have changed my plans with the build, I decided to spend a little more and go all out. The block is now sleeved by golden eagle and brought to 84mm. Im going with Wiseco 8.8:1 (gsr stroke makes it 9.2:1).

My turbo is a GT3076R w/ .82 exhaust housing

This week i will be sending my harness to Chasebays and he'll be sending me my brake lines, fuel lines, clutch lines, etc so i can get started on the brake line tuck
i will be updating frequently this month!
