Default Re: Removing Air Conditioning

sure its pretty simple. ****TAKE IT TO A SHOP AND HAVE THE REFRIGERANT REMOVED FIRST**** DO NOT VENT IT TO THE AIR!!!!! If its R-12 then they may even do it for free for the R-12. then just remove the compressor which is connected the engine and the belt. remove all the lines coming to and from it. there is a dryer/accumulator which looks like a a big soda can connected to one of the lines and a condenser in front of the radiator which looks like a smaller radiator. take them out as well. if you really want it all gone then you can remove the evaporator which is under the dashboard but that i would recommend taking to a shop cause thats a lot of work and you dont want to F up the heater core. then box all that up and send it to me cause i want it if its all in working condition.
