Default throttle body size

whats the throttle body size for the b16a2 and the type-r?

i want to know if it would be worth it to get the type-r throttle body for my skunk2 mani. would the extra 2mm do any better than the b16's 60mm?

i found these online but not sure if its right.

What do you have done to your engine? Chances are it will be a waste of money for an extra 2mm.

What do you mean by CTR? Are you talking about cams, pistons, or both? Unless you're talking about pistons or both, IMO it'd be a waste of money to buy a new one. And 68mm's is definitely overkill, unless you're dealing with a really high compression engine or a high horsepower turbocharged setup.

68 is much too big, you may lose power with that size with your motor. those specs you have listed are correct for the B-series motors, dont know about the rest. You can send your tb into maxbore and if I remember he can take it out to 65mm max (he will replace the butterfly and clean the tb) and its like 100 bucks. Id stay at 65mm at the MOST with your set up.

Take a look and see what the s2 mani will accept for tb sizes. Also, just a side note, the performerx manifold will net much better gains (there is a dyno test in the allmotor section pitting the s2 and performerx against eachother) then the s2 unit, but it will cost you more. Just something to look into if you want the best mani out there right now from what I have seen.
