i have a black 2000 civic SI . i already had 3 attempts in the past 6 months, and i'm tired of it, so i'm deciding to let my car go. i was just wondering, what would be in my best interest--to sell the car as a whole (96,xxx) miles or to part it out? which do you think would get me the most money in the end? also, i've never parted out a car before, but a friend is going to help me do it, and was wondering if it is even feasible to be able to sell every part on my car in a decent amount of time, thanks!

 

I say sell it as a whole, its a black Si, you'll be able to sell it if nothing is wrong with it. Plus you won't have to deal with ripping your car apart, which takes time, and time=money.

i forgot to mention, i still need to fix it up before thinking about selling it, which is going to cost me around $1000. (new rear bumper, steering column, steering lock, new window.)

sell it as a whole. get like 6-8grand for it dependng..

 

fix it then sell it.. on craigslist ive seen alot of cheap 00 si.. people always want stock CLEAN si then they fix it up themselves
