i have a 08 Mugen Si, not that it matter but when i shift from first to second, second to third, sometimes while under heavy brakeing, downshifting, it makes this evil knock noise. Now Ive takin it to Honda and they say theres no explanation and they cant figure out whats wrong with it. can some one please help? or anyone else experiencing this?
i never seen that in my Mugen SI. the only realthing i been having on my Mugen is weak breaking problem (spongy).... hey i got a Question for you off topic. did you get paper work saying you have a real mugen SI? cause i have mine since Jan 18 2008 and they never sent me one yet, i also called honda of America and they said the dealer was suppose to give me a doc. stating it it was a real mugen
ive been trying to find out the cause of this bang for nearly 2 years now, and i think i found it, if i had a picture i would post it. i think its the front lower control arm bushings (closest to the front of the vehicle) they're pretty soft and give real easy, so the big bang is the control arm contacting the mounting area.
