So yeah here is the story, went to get an inspection Sticker here in MA and well I get passed for emissions ( dont have a cat and use o2 simulator) shhh, and well i failed for bad front tires which i replaced with snow tires and failed for play in the drivers side tire.

I checked it out myself and noticed there was alot of play. First thing that comes to mind is the tie rod. (i also work at a Honda dealership) any who, as i keep looking into this I see the shock looks like its moving/bending in? The piston thing in the shock is like bending or something? Is this even possible? it's not leaking any fluid and does not make any noise.

I called D2 and it's still under warranty but the guy wants me to take the whole shock apart and take pictures and see if i see anything warn. He mentioned the top hat but to me it looks like the shock itself is moving. I bought and oem tie rod- outer and this really didn't help at all.

I need a sticker asap and don't have time for downtime with my car to take the shock apart figure it out and put it together as i work 7days a week.

I mean what the hell could it be? People at my work told me its the strut that's doing it. But is that even possible? The guy at D2 told me he's never had a problem with the struts.

thats just the allen keys for camber adjustment that are loose, i had the same issue when i forgot to tighten mine when i first installed them.
