ok so as the title says i have no idea where i should take my car, it is an 01' gsr. basically nothing done to it so i have nothing leaning towards one way or another, i don't know too much about what is needed for each kind of build so bare with me. This is my dd and it's going to be a very very slow build. which way would be best to go with the idea that i will be doing most of the add ons myself until it gets to the hard stuff. so what should i go with and what will i need to replace in my engine to go that route? and when will i need to start thinking about tuning?
what are your goals?
most likely u will spend most going all motor and get the least results.
Supercharger might give you a nice balance, but costs more than turbo setup usually.
Turbo set ups will yield you more power if you want. Can also be cheapest option out there.
Or you can twin charge it.

as a dd im not sure my goals, im thinking about 200-300 which will probably end up not satisfying me, when it is no longer my daily i want to squeeze as much power as i can out of it.
Same thing with supercharged. A basic JRSC setup will most likely get you to the 200whp range. So unless you throw money to build the motor you wont be satisfied.
Go turbo. Go into the Forced induction section and start reading. You can easily make 200+whp on stock internals without sacrificing reliability for relatively cheap.
