Less power after ramhorn?
Ok guys so i have a 95 ls integra thats boosted i had a ebay set up with a log manifold on 9 psi and it spun veryyyy hard 2 gear and shifting into 3rd.
I upgraded from the log mani to a nukin ramhorn manifold and from a bent up 2 1/2 inch downpipe to a nice 3 inch downpipe. Now the car is on 8 psi on a tial wastegate compared to 9psi it was on the ebay set up. Car feels slower to me not much spinning anymore? Any idea what could be causing this?

I'm guessing since you have no power comparisons that it hasn't been tuned since you changed over? That would be something to look at. The log manifold is going to give a little more response early anyways, but you should definitely be making more power overall with your new setup.
No i havent gotten it retuned its never been tuned just a basemap. Dyno tunning comming very soon. The car is also VERY quiet now compared to what it used to be. i just dont understand why it would feel a little slower

Well first of all your on less PSI, secondly you just changed the whole VE of the motor, Thirdly your on a basemap.
All these "basemaps" you see online for sale, are pretty much people who have no clue whats going on and they just burn a similar tune to a chip and make profit.
I would only trust a basemap to get me to a tuner, and it would have to be from someone good like phearable ect.

OP by your first post it seems like you are trying to somewhat suggest EGAY is better than a well built ramhorn, please stop

So you never got it tuned in the first place with the egay kit? Then you changed your setup still on the origional map that is just meant to drive your car to a dyno to get tuned and created a thread about it not being a tire burner like it was before?

Not to bash but you just said you spent $600 on just the manifold. So you thought a $600 turbo kit, would flow close to what a $600 manifold and much bigger down pipe would..Get the car tuned your new setup is probley way lean...
i dont think so. Comp is 180 178 179 176. Ive only got into it twice with the new set up. Im sure it just needs to be tuned. In 2 weeks it will see the dyno. Hoping for around 300 on 12 to 14 pounds
well you are on the right direction in getting it dyno tuned.
also, make sure your flanges, welds and pipings doesn't have leaks. maybe thats another reason why it feels slower...

OP, your butt dyno is not calibrated.
So, you put on a well built manifold with a bigger downpipe. Wouldn't surprise me if your AF walked a full point or more towards danger danger. Either way, you'll never know because you don't have a wideband in the car. Just get the car tuned, if all is well it will wake up no problem then.
This also assumes your motor is tuned well. A basemap MIGHT get within 10% of the right AFR's, but there's a good chance it was lean in spots already - and you made it FAR worse. As mentioned, if you fubar'd your rings, it will pull even less hard than before.
Your best bet now is to research detonation, do the appropriate checks on your motor/plugs to find it, and do a compression and/or leakdown test. And pray.
Lol, this is like DEI (direct exhaust injection), right? Sounds killer! NO wasted exhaust gases!
